GREAT KIVA, AZTEC RUINS NATIONAL MONUMENT - #2364
This Great Kiva, reconstructed in 1934, is the only fully restored one
in existence. It was originally built in the 12th Century by Ancestral
Puebloans (Anasazi) from, or related to, the great culture at Chaco
Canyon. Kivas were used for important tribal ceremonies.
