PINCUSHION CACTUS FLOWERS - #3158
The pincushion cactus, also called the fishhook cactus due to the shape
of its barbs, is small and cylindrical in shape. It flowers in spring and
summer, adding small touches of pink to the deserts below 4500 feet.
This one was photographed in the Picacho Mountains, Arizona
